“This book is very helpful for the beginner lap steel player. It provides lots of tablature with accompanied example and back up tracks. My only complaint is it focuses solely on open tunings which work well for rock and blues. I would have liked to have seen either a C6th which is pretty standard for county swing and Hawaiian or something like an E 13th which was used on early to mid Hank Williams albums. With that being said there is a lot of material that covers that sort of stuff. If you are looking for an easy introduction into lap steel this book is good place to start.”
